The WTR 100 series are temperature sensors where a measuring insert is plugged into a protective fitting.
This has the advantage that the measuring element can be replaced at any time without having to remove the entire unit.
The protective fitting keeps the process closed, which is why the process does not have to be interrupted during sensor replacement.
In the WTR 300 series, the sensor element is installed directly in the protective fitting (no exchangeable measuring insert).
This gives the sensors a fast response time and a cost-optimised design.
